Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments work on VoiceCraft, operated by Bruo Systems Limited, 2c Grangegorman Lower, Smithfield, Dublin, Ireland (Reg. 765033). It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy.

Credits

VoiceCraft is pay-as-you-go. You buy credits in advance, in euro (EUR), and credits are consumed when you generate audiobook narration. The number of credits a generation consumes depends on the length of the manuscript text and the quality lane you choose. Credits are a unit of access to the Service; they have no cash value and do not constitute electronic money or a deposit.

Prices

Prices for credit packs are shown on the Pricing page and again at checkout, and are identical in both places. Prices are in euro (EUR) and, where applicable, are inclusive of any taxes we are required to collect. We may change pack pricing from time to time, but a change will not affect credits you have already purchased.

Cards and payment provider

We accept Visa and Mastercard. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number or security code; that information is handled directly by the payment provider under its own security standards. By paying, you authorise us, through our payment provider, to charge the amount shown at checkout.

Currency conversion

Pricing is denominated in euro (EUR). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and fees, which are outside our control.

When you are charged

You are charged at the time you confirm a credit-pack purchase. Credits are added to your balance once the payment is confirmed by the payment provider. Purchases are recorded against your account so your balance always reflects the sum of your purchases and usage.

Receipts and invoices

Every successful purchase generates an invoice that you can view and download from the Invoices area of your account. Invoices show the pack purchased, the amount, the currency, and the date of issue.

Failed and declined payments

If a payment fails or is declined, no credits are added to your balance and the purchase does not complete. You will not be charged for a failed purchase, and you can try again at any time. Payment webhooks are processed idempotently, so a given payment is only ever credited once even if your provider notifies us more than once.

Security and fraud

We may take steps to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised payments, including declining or reversing suspicious transactions. If you believe a payment was made without your authorisation, contact us promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
